On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.

There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info. Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the "health problem" cited in those articles was an aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings.

However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.So, let's start mixing this one up and cut the Obamites off at the pass - send this info out to as many people as you can - post it on websites and blogs - etc etc

Lastly, an excerpt from Rudy Giuliani's speech at the 2008 RNC below - it seems to address this very issue:"Well, I'll tell you, if I were Joe Biden, I'd want to get that VEEP thing in writing!!! " (How Prophetic)

Only problem with that, is how will Hillary run for President as a sitting VP in 2012? She can't very well run against the top of her ticket. She's a lot of things, but she's not one to give up. She's plotting for 2012 now, and the number one thing that she needs to make certain happens is that Nobama loses in '08. She doesn't want second fiddle.

I've heard that on the radio already.

McCain's people need to drive home the point that,

Obam-ba-lam is dipping into the same stagnant toilet bowl that's been in D.C. that is the problem now! There ain't gonna be no change and the only hope there will be is we might survive it. It'll be more of the same. While HE on the other hand is already bringing change. He has stepped out of the box and picked a V.P. who has a record of change, who has busted up the "good ol' boys", while Oflopears keeps picking out of his "good ole boy" (or "good ole THANG" if he changes to Haglery..) network.

He knows there needs to be change and has picked a person who can help him lead this country. That WE are By God Americans and we don't rely on HOPE, we get off our A**es and provide it for the rest of the World!!!!

I would put President Bush back on the democraps, "Obluelips wants change, and says I'll be more of same old last Administration, but HE or the dumbocrats did NOTHING to change anything in the two years that they have held a majority in the House and Senate. With these folks it's only gonna be more of the same to it's rotten core. And these same folks who fancy themselves our leaders who continually put down this administration still enjoy a lower approval rating than the man they're blaming all of America's problems on. After all the President can only do and approve what the Congress and Senate put before him.

If Senator teleprompter was going to change anything at all for the American people HE WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING ALREADY. He could have at least introduced a piece of legislation, or something SIMPLE like voted Yes or No. Hell, even shown up for work for more than 143 days and done the job that he was hired to do."

I don't think I would make a very good politician either.

I see this event, should it occur, as Obama's first "executive decision" being a failure. Obama must be using the secret weapon for victory in '08:

Palin rocks AK, what do you feel she has said is stupid? I keep hearing about how dumb she is but have seen no evidence other than she could not name a SCOTUS case she disagreed with other than ROE vs Wade.

Obama/Biden on the other hand hve had more gaffes than anyone yet they are looked at as if they are the smartest people around.

Obama for starters thinks he has visisted 57 states and has a couple more to go but he is not for sure which one. Or how about how on Memorial day when he saw "fallen heroes" in the audience? Or how his uncle liberated Auschwitz when in fact Russia did instead. Then of course he discussed his Muslim faith and not knowing which city in the 57+ states he was in but hey these last 2 I will give him the benifit of the doubt... though still gaffes just the same.

Biden my gosh, I do not think I have the time to sit down and go over every detail of how bad he has been. Most recently he stated that we kicked Hezbola with the helo of the French out of Lebanon when actually they bombed us and we withdrew our troops (WE NEVER KICKED THEM OUT!!!). Or how about that FDR going on TV in 1929 to explain to the people about the new deal and how he was going to save the country ... even though FDR was not POTUS at the time nor were there TV's for another 10 years!!! Or how about how he lies about his roots all the time and stole another persons life story and passed it on as his own?

Yet you think Palin is a bad choice and stupid because the media tells you so yet the only gaffe she has had is her failure to know the name of other SCOTUS cases she disagreeed with. That is ok because every conservative to ever come along has been branded as borderline retarded by the media and Palin is no exception.

Biden is a walking gaffe machine, not to mention a plagiarist, why do you think he lost in the primaries BOTH times he ran for president? But then again, he's "the smartest man here" (rolleyes).

hussein is not far behind, (see Deans excellent post).

No, she can't see Russia from her house, but her point was that she's been a LOT closer to Russia a LOT longer than all the rest of the contenders.

I submit that Palin has more executive experience than the other 3 combined and has done MUCH more in the way of making an organization work correctly than any other.

husseins "executive" experience with the Annenburg mess was a complete failure, as has been his short senate "career". Joe has simply followed the pack and looked after his own interests a la murtha.

I could go on forever....

Don't drink the coolaid AK.

In other news, Mr. Dean an avid almost rabid conservative has come under fire for telling his mother in law that the gas station was "just down the road, a stones throw away" when in fact the gas station is almost 2 miles down the road, requires one right hand turn and there is no evidence that suggests that Mr. Dean could actually throw a stone 2 miles.

When questioned further Mr. Dean, who is a fringe out of the main stream conservative, admitted that he can not throw a stone the entire 2 miles and that perhaps saying that the gas station was just down the road was not entirely correct but stressed his point was that the place in question was very close and does not take long to get there.

There are calls now for divisive conservative Mr. Dean to step down from his position as “Man of the House†after his latest gaffe. Mr. Dean ® could not be reached for further comment.

You might disagree with her policy but to call her stupid is just... well stupid. I disagree with Obama on just about everything but I do not believe him to be borderline retarded.

In many threads you talk about how you are middle of the road and do not support a particular party but honestly posts like that one and others I have read really present evidence which says otherwise.

She is stupid. There are plenty of Republicans that will tell you that.

Her supporters accuse her critics of snobbery: Maybe she's not a big "egghead" but she has brilliant instincts and inner toughness. But what instincts? "I'm Joe Six-Pack"? She does not speak seriously but attempts to excite sensation—"palling around with terrorists." If the Ayers case is a serious issue, treat it seriously. She is not as thoughtful or persuasive as Joe the Plumber, who in an extended cable interview Thursday made a better case for the Republican ticket than the Republican ticket has made. In the past two weeks she has spent her time throwing out tinny lines to crowds she doesn't, really, understand. This is not a leader, this is a follower, and she follows what she imagines is the base, which is in fact a vast and broken-hearted thing whose pain she cannot, actually, imagine. She could reinspire and reinspirit; she chooses merely to excite. She doesn't seem to understand the implications of her own thoughts.
