Training guns..

I am goimg to purchase one of the blue traing glock 19/23 size pistols. I want to train my fiance a lot more and work with her on some shoot/don't shoot drills. I thought about getting the dummy barrel for my Glock 19. I want to be able to hear if she pulls the trigger rather that hear the dry fire and have to reset it after every shot. I guess what I am looking for is a traing pistol that simply beeps when a trigger is pulled. I may rig up a switch on the blue trainer gun but then the gun wont feel natural. Is there any products I may benefit from? I couldn't really turn up anything in a google search.

airsoft gas pistol. just dont load BB's in it. let it cycle when she pulls the trigger. weight, feel, much lighter recoil and decent trigger pull. plus she can use your same holsters. you dont even need to put gas in the mag. just let her use it like a real gun to train and save yours for range days.

Is there an echo in here? Gas airsoft is a great training aid. Especially for inexperience shooters. Plus you can use them in the garage or back yard of most homes. Down side....they aren't cheap. We bought one for my BIL paid about $200 Edited February 1, 2014 by Lumber_Jack

Nashville Airsolf has a all metal M60 for $400. I think thats the closest anyone will get to feeling like rambo.

I have several hundred dollars worth of airsoft guns from Airsplat.

 

When I used to be the night shift supervisor I on Friday nights after the shift I would lock the doors, turn off the lights and a free for all would ensue.

 

Company morale as at a high point.

 

That was years ago, but I still have a slew of guns.

 

The Automatic Electric Guns come in any flavor you could think of, from cheap plastic to high end all metal for several hundred. AEGs are almost always rifles.

 

The gas guns, which shoot green gas (propane with an oil conditioner) start at $50 nonblowback, blowback guns are higher, but they operate identical to their real world counterpart.

 

The fun part comes with how inexpensive they are, but that can be deceiving after a dozen guns...

That’s what I was thinking, and then you could train with your gun. But that’s several hundred bucks in conversion hardware and the ammo costs more than the real thing.

Echo 1 also has made a mini gun. And I still have two of their rifles from a few years back. An echo 1 G3 with upgraded internals and a echo 1 M416.

I also train with airsoft weapons, they are great tools especially for use in "force on force" scenarios or for training inexperienced shooters safely.

I personally use KWA's line of professional training weapons, however there are literally dozens of less expensive options, just keep in mind that like with anything else you typically "get what you pay for".
