Want to read something really screwed up?

First let me say this I am not having a pity party just thought this was pretty screwed up.

 

So my mother is certainly dying (Everyone is for that matter) the Doc was slightly off when he said she had hours, a few days at most when she is still alive after 2-3 months. But my sister called and said she is going downhill fast.

 

Anyway, my stepfather had a really nice truck, nicest vehicle he has ever owned and a meth head stole it and totaled it. Insurance paid it off but he couldnt afford to get under another payment so he bought an older SUV. They just needed something reliable to get my mother back and forth to the hospital. The guy has worked all his life, is a VN Vet etc. He is old enough to retire but cannot afford to, at least for now. He is a Diesel  Mechanic and Shop Foreman. His tools are worth a lot of money and they are not Company tools, they are his tools, without them he cannot make a living.

 

So a couple of weeks ago he hires this young guy as a shop cleanup guy. I think thats what his job was, my stepfather had another name for the job. The guy, another fricken Meth head, steals his tools. So he reports the theft to the Police and they get his tools back and arrest the guy. I am assuming he bailed out from what I have been told

 

This morning stepfather goes out to get in his SUV to go to work and his SUV is on fire, burned to the ground. Police and Fire said it was Arson, someone had torched his transportation.

 

Apparently the cops are pretty sure they know who did it, he didnt have full coverage only Liability. So at the moment he has no way to get back and forth to work, no way to get my mother back and forth to the Hospital, I tell you, some people are low life beyond low life.

 

But of course there is always someone worse off than the next person. But when you have people doing things like that, they deserve no quarter.

I dont know his name. If I did probably wouldnt post right away because from what my sister told me the police are still in their investigation and trying to find the guy.

That really stinks Tanker. Meth has taken over much of the country side in Tennessee. Main reason I left cookeville and moved back to Nashville. Had friends you couldent even recognize after doing it. Had a close friend steal a bunch of stuff from my moms house too. I'm sure they are around here but just not everywhere like in the country.

The only problem with meth is that it doesn't kill people fast enough.

I hope things get sorted quickly.

Sorry to hear that Tanker. It sometimes looks like some folks have 1 issue after another and you wonder is it ever going to stop. Will be praying for your mom, you and the family.
