+1, also a Walther PPK owner here and I will say that they are accurate and with their size you have no reason to not carry.

A Sig 232 is also in the same realm as the PPK. I had one that I really liked, but I consolidated down to a few calibers so I sold it.

I have a P232 as well. Great gun

I have a PPKS (stainless) in 380. It's a great shooting piece and very reliable. It's actually in my carry ensemble, depending on where I'm going, since it concealed so well.

I found a CZ 52 in 9mm and I am wondering if it will be a good space holder until I can get a PPK

It is nothing like a PPK, is only about 3 times bigger and feels like holding a brick, other than that why not?

The PPS can be had in 9mm or 40. Completely different animal.

My PPS 9 has been a solid performer and easily concealable. With single stack you do lose some round capacity.

The little steel Walthers are beautiful classics to my eyes and one that feeds reliably is a keeper for sure. BUT from a practical viewpoint time has marched on in terms of firearm size and fire power.

.380 with the newer ammo is still fine for pocket carry during the warmer months but for that I think highly of the little single action Sig 238. It is an incredibly soft shooting .380. The Walther is a blow back design and (to me) it feels like I am firing a 9mm round.
