Picked up a new Remington 700, 308 with 20" Tactical barrel today with Synthetic Overmold Stock.  Now looking forward to doing some work to it and finding the right scope.  Curious what others have done?

I got one with 16.5" barrel for Christmas.  So far I've installed the following:

SWFA HD 5-20x50 scope with butler creek caps

Timney trigger

Seekins precision rings/20 moa base

Harris bipod

Badger Ordnance tactical bolt knob

Tac Ops cheek pad

YHM suppressor should be here in a few weeks

I like that Badger bolt knob. Did you send the bolt off to have it installed?

Nope, did all the work myself.  It's really not that difficult if you have a grinder, some files, and a tap/die set with 5/8x24 die.  Just take your time with it.

Gotcha. I saw the video of Badger using a mill to square up the old knob and was wondering if there was a do it yourself method. Thanks.
