Not sure I completely understand what they are doing but it sounds like they are making it legal to open carry without a permit.

Well, their current carry situation is like ours, permit needed to open or concealed carry. That's a poorly written article, but the bill simply proposes constitutional carry for both, like AZ, VT, AK, and WY.

Currently Kentucky allows open carry and vehicle carry without a permit.

Now that would be great. Any time we can decrease the number of "permits" and "licenses" we need is a wonderful thing.

In a press release, Dahm said: “The Second Amendment says the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, and yet when we require our citizens to jump through hoops, pay fees and undergo a process that presumes they’re guilty of something until proven otherwise, their rights are being infringed upon.

 

This guy must be a lousy politician. I thought common sense was banned in politics. Get this guy out of OK and send him to DC.
