$70 Ruger Mark I

Not mine, but for $70 it might be easy to fix. Spring, firing pin, etc? Something small I'd imagine, but could be way off.

For $70 may be a good gamble?

Probably the firing pin channel full of crud. Been there and done that.

Dang. Hate that I missed that in my own backyard. Someone got a heck of a good gun for cheap.

I would not call it a  "heck of a good gun". It definitely is a rough gun at best that also looks like it was rather rusty at some point until they tried to clean it up. But even with that I would have jumped on that $70 gun.

The Ruger is a heck of a good gun. I see what it is, not just what it is currently. To each his own, I suppose.

Of course, there are a few people on here that now own guns that I "restored", for lack of a better word. I enjoy that immensely. Edited January 25, 2014 by Good_Steward

Parts for that should have been easy to have been had.  That was a very popular one.

 

Dad has one, well, it was just a Ruger, no Mark 1, 2 or 3.  He said he had been told allot of the parts where interchanging at least with his and the Mark 1.

 

I used his to take my HCP and lets say it shot as good as any gun there, well better then at least one for sure.
