Very nice.

The Ruger American is cool.  I like the one I have in .308, but I admit that I might end up trying to trade it for a 300 blackout upper.  LOL

I got my first look at one today in .22lr. I really liked it and was tempted to take it home but being off work with a hurt back kept my money in my pocket. I do have one on my list of guns to buy.

I bought the .22 version back in early December.  Been reading about it since it came out and finally got to hold one when I was visiting my son in MD, even a great price but they couldn't sell it to me being from NY. Stopped in a week or so later at my local shop and they had one for more money.  Told them the price I found in MD and he came within $10 of that price and I took it home.  Weather has been to bad to shoot it much but I really like it so far.

If your wondering what a New Yorker is doing on your site, I'm check out where to move to if we don't get the current NYS government out of office in November. TN is on my short list, plan to spend some time there in the Spring to see what we think.

I didn't have the gun long enough to know anything about it.  Traded it for a 10/22 so I have something to tinker with for a couple of weeks. Haven't seen a box of .22WMR for sale in a store forever anyway. Just didn't feel like waiting for another year or two to be able to buy as much ammo for it as I wanted.  I was not overly impressed with the Ruger American. Why did I trade for it in the first place?  An old friend wanted one of my other .22s and he had this so I traded, expecting that I could get a 1022 out of the Ruger American faster than I could out of the other rifle.  I may have kept this one had it been .22LR.
