Which QD scope mount do you use on your AR 308? What problems have you had. Need mount that will holdup under 308 recoil and will hold zero when detached/reinstalled. Also as usual, QD scope mount with the best price that will do the above. thanks

I've read some good reviews on the American Defense Recon at $159. The Burris P.E.P.R. is made in China and has bad buyer reviews on fit to their Picatinny rails and rough screw threads, etc.Any one out their have the Burris mount with good results?

I have optics in both a Larue and a PEPR, both qd, on my AR's. Personally, I think the Larue looks better. I like the fact that it's a Larue, but I haven't had any problems with the PEPR. I can't comment on how well it holds up, hold zero on a larger caliber.

I have used all three. The PEPR works well. Held zero on my scar...but it felt heavy and looks clunky.

I like the AD unit better than Larue because the Autolock system feels more sturdy than larue's. Larue's requires some lubrication and a wrench, while AD's doesn't. Larue's also has a plastic extension on the ratchet that worried me. They are great...but a little more expensive than AD, with those two factors that I didn't want. They both hold zero though. You can't go wrong either way.

I've been running a ADM recon 20moa for 2 years now on my 308 MATEN. I just changed it over to my Accuracy International. I have zero complaint what so ever about this mount. Worth every penny to me. and I need another as well for my MATEN again to keep this current one on my AI.
