First big diff is that both are quite small compared to the RK shows here at Chilhowee Park or Expo Center in Knoxville.

Thanks OS.  I was hoping to go to the Chilhowee Park show but have to be out of town for work that weekend.  Already have the Feb 22-23 date on calendar.  Was just wondering if either of those on Feb 8-9 worth going to?

I wouldn't drive from Sweetwater for either one myself. The last Smokey Mtn one I went to seemed to have a higher % of old collectible/military guns/parts than the big ones, if that's your thing. I didn't find the one at Shriners in 'Nooga to have any particular saving graces to speak of at all. The one at Camp Jordan is much bigger, but doesn't happen but maybe couple times a year.

Maybe others will have a different opinion, don't take mine as gospel.

of the 2 I would hit SMGCA Knoxville Gun & Knife Show. I have gone to many of their shows and I NEVER leave empty handed. I think it has to do with it being full of guns and Knives rather than blankets and peanuts. It is not a big show but I like it, might not be worth driving from sweetwater, you will spend more time in the car than at the show. I usually spend 30-40 mins there.

Thanks for the info. May wait for the Chilhowee in February unless my wife and I decide to ride into Knoxville for my other favorite pastime which is food. Lol. I drive enough during the week.
