Bullput SKS

RC3

Recommended Posts

I been thinking about picking up an SKS with a beat up stock and then getting a bullpup kit for it. How hard would it be to transition it from stock to the kit? And were are some great deals on SKS's?

EDIT: Sorry, for some reason I put the topic as bullput instead of bullpup.

In this day and age good luck finding a sks under 300-350

I found one for $220 at the boro gun show. Kind of kicking myself for not having bought it. Rough stock on it, but everything else looked fine.  :surrender:

At the risk of starting a philosophical discussion on fate; there is no such thing as fate, ONLY the paths we make for ourselves. Take that as you will.

My only beef with changing an SKS to a bullpup is that it only adds complexity. You pull one trigger then the bar attached to it pulls the actual trigger. Seems like too many moving parts to me.

I tried out quite a few of the parts for my SKS at one point or another.... even got a converter to use AK47 mags. After all said and done, it worked the best in the original stock with the 10rnd fixed mag.
