C&R turn aroun time?

Thanks for the information guys.  I'm wanting to get mine and had heard that it could take 2-3 months.  Hopefully I'll see a turnaround closer to what you've mentioned.

BTW, the application says that they may contact you before the license is issued.  Any idea how common that actually is?

Great!  I'm hoping that they don't call, simply to avoid the hassle of phone tag with them.  With a little luck, I'll be good to go for C&R purchases before Feb comes to a close.

Thanks again guys!

I just sent my renewal off last week friday. i'll post when i comes back to me.

just opened the mail box a while ago and inside I found my renewed C&R. Took 31 days, seems like it took much longer than that.

I mailed my application on 2/10.  BATFE cashed my check the following week.  So roughly 4 weeks and I've seen no correspondence back from them.  I will update once I've heard.

Mailed on 2/10. Received on 3/15. Funny thing is I received the license but haven't received the information packet that is usually sent first.

It's the other way around.  You usually receive the license first.

Thought it was more common to get the packet first. Excited to finally get it! Have my eye on a first purchase already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
