backup sights

Neither of my ars have backup sights. I have been looking at troy tritium folding sights. What is the difference in the standard and the micro set? Is there another less expensive brand that is just as good?

AFAIK, the micros were designed for rifles that have a higher receiver rail than the traditional AR such as the XCR and the SCAR.

My personal opinion is that if they are truly being used as a back up there is not a need t spend that kind of money on the sights, a set of MBUS sights would work just fine.

Site = A place

Sight = What's on your gun

I too was thinking you meant you wanted an online backup facility for your computer.  As for backup sights, I run Magpul sights on my mid-length AR and run LMT sights on my short-barrel AR.
