Talon Pistol Grips

I did a quick search and didn't see anyone talking about these, so excuse me if I overlooked it.

I carry a S&W M&P Shield 9mm. I have a bit smaller hands than the average Joe, but the grip still feels just a hair slim in my hand. I know they run the single stack and kept the gun slim for carry, but I still wanted a bit of a thinker handle. There are not interchangeable backstraps on the Shield like its bigger brothers, so I bought the Talon Rubberized Grip. I heard some folks like the granular (ala sandpaper-ish) but I've also heard that snag on clothes for conceal, etc and I don't want an abrasive on my hand.

I have to say, I really like the feel in my hand of this. I am off to range here in a bit to try it out. I'll post some feedback later tonight!

Talon grips are an awesome upgrade. Looking forward to how they help keep things in the hand. I've used the abrasive grips - they're really aggressive, both for hands and t-shirts.

Looks good. I just bought a new Shield9 and almost ordered a set of Talon grips off Ebay. May still do it. Look forward to you feedback.

Good pick.

I have granulate on Glocks.
I usually sand down to how I like it, and works great.
I've tried another brand but I did not like it.
It cost more than others but it's worth to me.
They always ship fast and good customer service.

I love my Talon grips. I have both but definitely prefer the granulate. As the person above mentioned, if you lightly sand it down there are no issues. I have found that the rubber texture actually causes blisters for me during extended shooting sessions.

After 4 years, the grip on my G19 is starting to peel off. I'll probably order another one soon. I liked Talon a lot more before they doubled the price though.

I have a set of abrasive on one of my older gen2 G22s. It aint slipping out of my hand

if it is covered in oil.

I ordered the rubber version originally for my XDs. Personally, the factory grip was a little harsh when firing more than 100 rounds at a time. The Talon grips solved this problem. At that point, i ordered grips for my Kahr (pocket rocket) and my FNS-9. I could not be happier with the performance. Installation is easy and customer service is excellent if you have any issues.

Just a post report, love the grips, its just enough to make all the difference on the gun to me.

I highly advise them, I mean at $17 for them, they are not expensive.
