PA Micro Dot w/Seekins mount

Anybody using a Primary Arms Micro Dot with the Seekins mount they sell? I'm buying a removable base model micro from a guy I know and it looks like if I want absolute co-witness on my 15-22 that's what I need to go with.

I haven't used the Seekins mount, but I have used them with the UTG mount for absolute co-witness. They're good dots, especially for the price point. They were the first red dots I ever used.

 

That being said, I just sold the ones I had, as I prefer the EOTech recticle. For the price point, PA can't be beat.

Did yours have the fixed or removable base? I read the fixed would be absolute co-witness with the med. UTG riser but the removable base model would sit too high. I'd love to be able to use the UTG, it would save me about $70.

 

I finally broke down and bought an Eotech for one of mine and love it.

It's removable. The dot itself is a Weaver mount, so you can use it on a 10/22 or the like. It's nice to have the option.

This is the setup I have as well. I just bought it 2 weeks ago. It's a great optic for the money. I'm happy.

I'm going to try it with a UTG before ordering the Seekins. Is your micro dot the removable base model too Erik?
