Hypothetical what if scenario

Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you!

Once you report, you lose complete control of any and everything that flows from your reporting, both good and bad.

In my experience, look toward more bad than good coming from this.

Your supervisors should be aware of what is going on with those under their watch.

Great luck with this which ever way you go,

In my workplace, I have a guy who carries and has no sense of Operational Security.

What did he do?

This got me thinking, what would you all do if you encountered a minor carrying a firearm? Would it depend on which minor? Is it illegal to not say anything to law enforcement?

At 17 I was serving in the military during Vietnam. So no, I wouldn’t call the law on her. And I am not required to call the Police because I see a crime.
If you fear her or think she may be a safety risk; tell your boss/owner and let them handle it.

The guy I mentioned tells anybody and everybody about the guns he has, which he carries and when, which is/are in his car at the moment. He leads discussions about how exactly he would incapacitate a threat (my language there). He talks about wanting to be jumped and threatened just so he can use his handgun. He is the antithesis of someone I would spend time with in the world because I never know if he's going to react to small stimuli in a very boisterous over the top way. Can't trust him.

Sounds like he should move to Florida and start following black teenagers around. He'll get his wish and become an icon at the same time.
