Harvey Weinstein and Meryl Streep to Make Movie Slamming the NRA

I was listening too on Sirius but wanted to let someone else admit it first. ;)

  I listen every day. As far as I am concerned, there's no better radio. This is especially true when he's interviewing celebs. No one can get famous people to come clean like he can. He's simply masterful.

I drive a truck and have nothing but time and he helps pass it. And yes, he does do great interviews. I liked the mother/daughter contest earlier this week lol. You can google the pics. Birthday show's gonna be good.

I drive a truck too, and it's the best $12-$15 dollars I spend each month. I'll be listening to the birthday show on the computer.

Has anyone watched the old show "Entourage" that used to be on HBO?  Mark Wahlburg (The Producer) dedicated a character named Harvey Weinstein that was supposedly direct representation of how he was in his younger years.  Seems he hasnt changed much if the representation rings true.

I'm sure this will have a HUGE impact on the number of NRA members and supporters .... I kid I kid Edited by KKing

I will never understand why people who fear and dislike firearms aren't satisfied with just not owning one themselves.

I fear and dislike little yappy dogs that bite your ankles, but you don't see me going on some crusade against the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America.  You know what fixes the problem for me?  Not buying one of those nasty little critters.

I believe it will have an impact, but not in the way ol' Harve is thinking it will.

The only people who take these elitist windbags seriously are people who have already made up their minds and are just looking to be validated. We got the same nonsense on the conservative side of issues. Don't worry, it'll be summer soon and they'll be back to global warming with some kind if El Niño, La Niña, polar vortex, heatwave-mageddon, unprecedented temp nonsense.

Well since I have never been a Meryl Streep fan to begin with You can bet I won't be going to that one anyway. It will probably be the total end of her career as i believe she was already on the way out anyway. As for the Movie. I'm quite sure it will get some attention and probably turn more folks on to the NRA and help sign up more folks for it. Normally when ever there is something negative said about the NRA their memberships grow. Many folks thought that the statement Charlton Heston made right after the Columbine School Shooting would hurt the NRA but in fact it grew after he said it. Folks finally realized the NRA was not an organization that would be pushed around...............jmho

The liberal elite will spread any propaganda he can,
even when you think he doesn't know anything about
the subject. He will always think a gun is good for him,
or his body guard, but not for anyone else. The other
part of him thinks the authority should always rest in
a government. It that old "rule" thing instead of being
free. It's just the way they think. And it's sad they have
no argument to back up their stupidity.

Nah. The new kick is evil corporations, and the need to steal their money and give it to burger flippers and liberal arts majors.

Well,

That reminds me, it's time to renew my NRA membership and buy a few hundred rounds of .223.

I'll be sure to watch this after Whiney-stein stops making movies with unrestrained gunfire, and fires all his armed bodyguards.

I imagine it will be the self-parody gun version of "Reefer Madness" and will play in a loop at the next NRA Convention.

I wish it was more like "Rocky Horror Picture Show". I might go for a laugh then. :D

How much do you want to bet that the movie will be another in which the guns will be blazing the whole movie, since that is the kind of movie he knows how to make, but somehow will end up making the point that guns are bad, especially in the hands of the common man.

Yes, it will be interesting to see how he portrays the NRA and legal gun owners. They'll probably all be bald headed, carry the Dixie flag and wear hooded sheets with swastikas all over them.
