Photo from the PSA booth at SHOT. A PSA 1911, made in South Carolina.  This one could be a winner for PSA I think. There's a thread about it over on ARFCOM but no official info on the specs or pricing.

Wears an esoteric logo I wasn't familiar with, I won't spoil your sleuthing.

Here in a different finish:

Have to see what the specs are and the price point.

Sure hope they improve their customer service.

And don't want the Awake Iron on the slide regarlesss the meaning or history.

Would much rather have the slide naked.

People have been saying that for years. I'd say their standard on that is pretty much what it's going to be, a trade off for the deals.

I've been trying to figure out what that gibberish is on the slide for some time now.

Desperta Ferro! for those who are also wondering.

It's also a Spanish marketed energy drink, so ya got that going for ya, too. ;)

That's the first thing that came up with I asked my friend Google what "Desperta Ferro!" meant. Frankly, it sounds delicious.

Medieval Catalan: Desperta Ferres!) was a battle cry of the Middle Ages employed by the Almogavars. It was shouted on entering the fight, to frighten the enemy and invoke the presence of iron in the battle.

Well if $1500 is the price I'll spend a few hundred more and get a Les Baer with a Kart barrel.
