Glock 42

you keep claiming Chattanooga has all the ammunition in the world. Any idea why? Which stores are you going to?

How much is .380 there? When I can find it here I have paid anywhere from $15-20 a box at Wal-Mart.

Allen lives in a geographical oddity.  The availability capital of the world.  Everything is always in stock and everything is always cheap.

I wish that were true

You sure make it seem that way.

You do have GT Dist down there. Which reminds me, one of my coworkers down here is friends with the owner of GT Dist. Love that store.

Sounds like a good deal. They are selling on Gunbroker for $600. Over on FFLONLY forum the dealers are saying that distributors have a boat load of them ready to release on Jan 20. Supposedly Glock foresaw the demand and produced a large quantity this time before releasing them. We shall see.

you can always count on your fellow gunner to exploit his comrades huh...makes me sick... its a high 300s gun

I also had the opportunity to fondle the 42. Just a slimmer version of the G26, minus the 9mm part. It's just a matter of time before Glock turns the 42 into a single stack 9mm.

Our lifetime would be good. Yeah, that'd be great.

That would be nice.

If so then the G42 would be OBSOLETE in my opinion .

You know, the more I see the 42, the more I'm thinking about getting it for the wife to replace the LCP. I can see this being much more comfortable to train with. As it stands, she doesn't like to shoot the LCP much

I handled one today and I think you hit the nail on the head.  It is a very good shooter, and seems operator friendly, more so than the LCP.  I won't be getting rid of my LCP, as it does fit the pocket better than the 42, but for a small carry gun, esp. for a woman's first gun, it just may be the ticket.

My wife has been shooting a kahr P380 and a Kel Kec 32. I think this might be just what she has been looking for. Not for me or other MEN, but for the ladies might be a great step forward.

Then again might borrow this day to day to try it out. rather have a 380 in my trunks VS nothing at times!!!!!!

Wonder if they make a 150 drum for it!!!!

Got to put my hands on one the other day. It's definitely tiny, in terms of size it is probably more in line with a Ruger LC9/LC380. The LCP or DB380 is still far smaller than the G42 as I compared them all side by side.
