I think that is the first step of Radical Muslims... get a sovereign state within countries everywhere then spread within said state like a cancer.

Notice the problems in the Philippines... no real problems, then all of a sudden you have terrorists wanting a separate part of the land to be there own and to live under a strict Islamic Law. (Or at least that is how I view it.)

You are missing the point. This is not about culture. The "chicken place" wasn't infringing on Muslim's right to pray, they were taking away an American, government established, non-religious holiday and replacing it with a religious one. This holiday which was established in the late 1800’s was to reward the working people of the United States. Changing this day to suit a religion is infringing on my first amendment right. If a certain religion wants to have their own holiday that’s fine but, taking away mine is not okay. This might seem trite but, a snowball starts with one snow flake, just ask the UK!

Reread your statement! They took a non-religious holiday,and replaced it with a religious holiday.How is that infringing on your 1stad?

This is what kills me.We are all for private business,but as soon as a private business does something you dont agree with all hell breaks loose.

Also keep in mind for terms of fairness that Muslims have the worlds second largest religion.It makes much more since to have a Muslim holiday then any other non-Christian holiday.

Multi-cultural...That is who WE are as Americans, unless of course you happen to be 100% Native American. Our laws are laws of man, but we are allowed to practice our cultural variations as long as we do not impede on the laws of man. Several of our laws were taken from religious law, of course, but different sets of laws should not be put into action based on varying religions. You live in the USA, then follow USA law. If you religion says you cannot get divorced, then you probably shouldn't get divorced. But....if you want to get divorced, you live in the USA and that is alright according to our laws. You don't like the laws or the language...kindly do a 180 and head back home...tysvm.

Of course we are multi cutural. The difference is that we have always had pretty much a one language system and freedom of worship. the government stayed out of religion and religion stayed out of government. In recent years we have had an influx of people that want to live here under thier terms, and for the sake of being polical correct we as a nation have bowed to thier desires. any one besides me hate press one for english. To me it is real simple you want to live here than assimilate to the American culture including the our langauge. worship as you see fit, but live by and honor our laws. If this is to much for you than go to hell back to were you came from.
