Anyone seen any Accurate 2520 ANYWHERE?

 I am needing to find some 2520 either by the pound or 8 pound jug, doesn't really matter. The Grendel that I am building on my TGO receivers really would like to have some. If anyone knows of any sitting on a shelf somewhere please let me know so I can call or run by. If someone were to see an 8# or multiple 1#'s but are not in Mid TN and pick it up I would gladly send them the money to cover the purchase price, shipping and something for the trouble. Thanks for any leads.

 

 

 

:EDIT: another member has offered to cut me a pound out of his stash but since he actually uses it I am trying to do my best to find some somewhere.

I've recently started handloading 5.56 (again) and have found AA 2230 to fit my needs extremely well...unfortunately the one pound I purchased to "try" it went away rapidly...way too rapidly...

 

I have 16 # on backorder, so I guess that'll teach me patience. LOL.

 

If I run across 2520 anywhere I'll post back here.

none around here.  still don't see much powder in the stores and when i do it is still high priced.  on line is still hit and miss.

and...any idea when David is heading back towards the Knoxville area? I never seem to be able to keep up with the gunshows, and I'm usually working.

But I understand Mr David is always accommodating when possible. I would much prefer to give him my business whenever possible.

 It's quite possible that you're the one that was mention above... BTW this build is taking it's toll on your toe, I mean you've dropped the barrel on it and now you've stubbed your toe on it's powder :D

I'm heading out of town on Friday sometime but I'm going to leave cash with a buddy of mine to go grab what I need from David. He just sent me a pm stating that he didn't have any 2520 but was waiting on an accurate shipment.

I asked them if I could do that and he said no. I even offered to go ahead and pay them for it but still no luck. Just told me that I'd have to keep calling back to check. I don't have any buddies at the Reloaders Bench so that could be why.

It seemed easiest to find for a while but it's like they just completely quit shipping now. Not sure if you ever get towards Nashville but A&H Reloading had every powder Accurate makes... except 2520 that is. You might check with them. I am thinking the outpost here in Murfreesboro had an 8# jug of 2230 the other night but I may be thinking of something else. I'll be by there in the next day or so and I'll check for you.

I gotcha. Not sure which powder I'm thinking of. There were a few 8# jugs of Accurate powder on the top right of the shelf but guess not only are they not the 2520 that I need but also not the 2230 that you need. I'll keep my eye out for you though.
