It's too crusty to read or see anything. I know an old house used to be located there in the 1880's after talking with some neighbors.

Need to see the other side.  My guess its a little newer, still crusty looking, but not crusty enough to be in the ground 50-100 years.  I vote Winchester 94 until I can see the other side.

I will take pics and post them... thanks... I could sell this + a 550 round bulk pack of 22lr on Gunbroker and get $1500 for the setup.

Can't be a Winchester. No one forgets where they left their Winchester.

You reckon that was the pin you were looking for? I saw a .50 cal gun barrel prop cnr once. Call said IP but it was damn sure a barrel. I wanted to dig it up and see the other end but crew chief wouldn't let me.

Don't forget to use the term "Very Rare" frequently your item description!

Just a guess, I would say that the condition it is in it has to be worth at least .73 cents at a metal recycling center.

Don't forget to mention that it's a "Custom" rifle.

Don't forget to mention that it's a "Custom" rifle.

With a high tech stock containing an invisibility cloak that cannot be damaged.

Screw a rail to the top and it can be "tactical" too.

Almost. I'm pretty sure a collapsible stock is now a tacticool prerequisite.
