It's Nashville Armory IDPA night! January 14th - 6:45 PM. Shooting starts at 7:00. Welcome to the first shoot of the new year! We want you all to come and try your new pistols. You know you got one and haven't fired a shot yet, so come on out and practice your failure to feeds, stove pipe jams and double feeds (that is unless you were extra good and got a new revolver!?) For all beginners and new shooters to the Nashville Armory you'll want to be there before hand (6:15 - 6:30) to watch the mandatory range safety video and get the IDPA safety brief.

  Not-So-Happy New Year  

Scenario: While pouring a double for a guest at your New Year’s Eve party,
hooligans break into your house and threaten to ruin the evening.
Retrieve your rearm from underneath the bar and ensure that all
your friends will ring in the new year safely.

Description: Starting position is at P1, gun in IDPA box, hands placed at
shooter’s discretion.

At the buzzer, draw and engage T1-T2 with three rounds each while
on the move to P2.
Move to P3 and engage T3-T5.

Description: Starting position is at P1, hands relaxed by shooter’s sides.

At the buzzer, draw and engage T1-T3 with three rounds each.
Shooter may move to P2 to engage T3 if desired.
Advance to P3 and engage T4-T5.

 

2014-003

Description: Starting position is at P1, centered on barricade, hands relaxed by
shooter’s sides.

At the buzzer, draw and engage all targets in tactical priority with
two rounds each. The shooter may elect to shoot the left or right
targets rst.
