Go shoot in the rain. That's my favorite time to hit the range as all the tacticool commandos are generally too afraid of getting their toys wet to show up. Kind of ironic to spend 2x-3x as much money on a high end "military tough" red dot only to freak out when it gets a little wet, but hey, whatever.

Usually on very cold wet days its just me and the old timers and I like it better that way anyway.

A heavy rain means you look through the scope like looking through a tunnel right to the target. WOOHOOO.

The guy spotting for you will see the bullet trace all the way to that 600 yd target.

ps -  snow can be a lil bit dryer but I live shooting in the rain.

Looks like I might have to do that, although it's beginning to look like I might get away tomorrow afternoon.
