the trials of shopping for a used truck.

I remember back in the late 80's people would say, they don't make them like they used it and stuff like that.

back then 100,000 was allot of miles.  Now that is just broke in if halfway taken care of.

Well, they were right.  They make them a lot better now.  There are cars on the road today that make 300 hp, get 30 mpg, and will last over half a million miles if serviced right.

OK.

I am home with my New to me truck.

I got a 2003, Ford Sport Trac.

It feels and drives like a dream.

4X4, brand new tires

It is the XLT, with power sun roof.  some people I think call it a moon roof.

Got off to a rocky start with the dealer, but they made it right and worked good with me.  I will consider buying there again in the future.

working on getting pictures up, first links failed.

OK, trouble doing it with drop box, will do photobucket in a minute

One thing that gave me a boost of confidence in them was the lot didn't have 2 or 3 nice things and allot ready to be pulled over the scrap scales.  Everything on the lot looked good.

I didn't get the miles but there was a Black  2004 Ford Lariat (4x4) that looked pretty good for 12k.

I think I had ask the miles and it was less then what I got, but I can't tell you by how much.
