Somewhat new to these parts

Hello everyone I'm Jim. Just moved down here from Illinois last year. My father is originally from these parts so I've visited this area my whole life and have family here. Always had an interest in guns but never really did much with that interest until recently. There were not a lot of options to shoot where I lived other than hunting trips and I never got into that unfortunately.

Bought my first handgun last year. Started going to a local range as often as I can trying to be a become a better shooter. I came across this sight and finally figured it was time to join and say hello. There is a ton of good info here and I look forward to continuing learning from all of the helpful people here.
