At Democrats' request-Bloomberg is giving up on gun control

That's why we should bring the issue up ourselves. Out of nowhere, bring up a bill to repeal some small part of federal firearms law, just to bring the issue back up and actually take a dang proactive stance on gun rights. Just to stick it in their craw...

And I am requesting he keep it up and let liberals show their true colors. I am sure that disgrace Obama lover Mary Landrieu of Louisiana will probably try to say she is pro gun. I swear she wants to lay with Obama and show him the "path to freedom road"

Absolutely the thing to do. I don't for one second believe that Bloomberg will stop spending his money to disarm the country. Maybe for the short run, so the Democrat races can be shored up; but after that ...look out.

In 2013 gun control groups spent 14.1 million on ads. 12 million of that was from Bloomingidiot. Gun rights groups spent 1.9 million in the same period. Maybe Bloomer's trying to figure out why his money didn't buy him happiness. According to a story in Advertising Age, the feds did nothing and the States were better on the gun rights people.

"The return on the investment has been very weak," said Elizabeth Wilner of Kantar Media. "When you are doing advocacy advertising you are looking for Congress to pass something."

And things weren't that much better on the state level. The New York Times reported that about 1,500 gun-related bills had been introduced in state legislatures since the Newtown tragedy and 109 of them became law. Nearly two-thirds of the new laws actually ease restrictions and expand the rights of gun owners, according to the Times. Most of those bills were approved in states controlled by Republicans.

This may be why they want the issue to be quiet for the mid term elections.

I think Pat is right in his post above, we should keep the issue alive in 2014 and beyond.

With all the hot air Bloomberg spews out, he could have been recruited away by Al Gore. He's the perfect example of anthropogenic

global warming from just one person.
