Off topic, but I am always amused by the people that bitch about PSA customer service turnaround times (especially on Slickguns).  Yeah, they are slow...but there is an old saying, "1) Cheap, 2) Good, and 3) Fast.  You can choose any two, but you can't have all three."  If they hired a bunch of people for customer service and fulfillment, they will have to raise prices to pay them. 

 

Cheap and Good = PSA (not too many others I can think of THIS good and THIS cheap)

Good and Fast = Daniel Defense, BCM

Cheap and Fast = Model 1, Bushmaster, DPMS from Walmart.

This is good news. An AR-10 style rifle is on my list for 2014 and I have been very pleased with multiple builds from PSA.

PSA recently updated with a little additional info on both the 308 and 1911 over on afr.com: Available sometime during the middle of the year an an affordable price. Your guess is as good as mine as far as what they will list for. My guess is 1000 for the AR10 but 1200 wouldn't surprise me either. Either way, I suspect one of these will be in my safe by the end of the year.

I pretty much think there is a standard .308 AR and Armalite validated that when they made a model that would accept PMAGS on the SR25/DPMS pattern and S&W put an exclamation point on it.   I realize others are still making different patterns but the vast majority of these are under this pattern.   Odd man out is the Rock River/Old Bushmaster patent that uses FAL mags.

 

 

On topic I am very excited about this as I need another lower and look very forward to some blem sales in the future lol.

I do love some PSA blemished items. Haven't found a blemish on one yet.
