Any tile setters / installers looking for work?

Recommended Posts

I am needing an EXPERIENCED tile setter / installer to give me a quote on having two backsplashes tiled in the kitchen. Depending on the price, I would like to have both bathroom floors done, too.

I will supply all materials. You MUST have experience and proper tools. I live in Springfield.

Do it yourself. Tile is extraordinarily easy to do. You will save a ton of money to because the going rate is 5++ per square foot. I did my kitchen, laundry and bathroom floors. Then did a custom shower, vanity top and backsplash in my last house. A friend of mine that does it for a living in multi million dollar houses couldn't even find any flaws. Lowes will make any cuts you need as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I've thought about that, but I've never done it before. I was hoping to get enough pointers from this project to feel comfortable doing other projects myself. I can get all the materials at a steep discount, so that will save me some money.

If you can draw a straight line you can set tile. The trick with doing walls is not to make your mortar too wet and use spacers. If you mess it up pop it off and try again. Tile is relatively cheap so you could even go out to the garage and practice on a piece of hardi back then use it for target practice later! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I have done my kitchen back splash, kitchen floor, laundry & pantry floor, entryway, both bathrooms floors and walls. It is indeed incredibly easy: however, the tile saw used makes a huge difference. If ya do it yourself then rent a good tile saw.
