Texas Gun Show Closed For Refusing Private BCs

Recommended Posts

I've been to the Saxet (Texas spelled backwards) Gun Shows in San Antonio. They're pretty good.

There are plenty of small towns near Austin that would be glad to host a Saxet Gun Show, Buda perhaps, and other places. It's a loss for Austinites, and no others.

I'm sure there are many privately own properties that are large enough to allow a gun show to be held that will be stepping up to the plate and they will be the ones that profit from holding the shows that the county will be losing..............jmho

Austin is a liberal enclave because the libs went out of their way to register the 50,000 idiot children at the University of Texas at Austin as dems. Their votes are bought off with bike paths and parks and the developer-influenced City Council runs the city any old way it wants to.

"If you use a public facility to sell guns, we really oughta have background checks done. Or don’t use the facility,” County Judge Sam Biscoe, the chairman of the commissioners, told reporters after the meeting.

And that's a judge saying that. It's a public facility...that means it belongs to the people. See, you don't need to pass laws before infringing upon people's rights...it's all in how some judge chooses to interpret the existing laws.
