Was just discussing the flir cam tonight 350 is a steal if it works well. We paid over 13k for a thermal camera at work used that retailed for over 25k when new and it's monochrome liquid cooled w am internal pump. Thermals been a great tool since the price has dropped. That flir unit is being hawked at ces in Vegas this week

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

The resolution is low of course, and at night you won't have the benefit of the object outline provided by the second camera, but if you can see signatures a few hundred feet across a backyard into the woodline I'd call it a win (especially at the pricepoint of $300 something dollars).  Target recognition might be an issue but knowing _something_ is there would be nice, blob or not.

Wish they made a handheld monocular version like golf scope sized.

Not sure if I just missed it or if it's just common thermal knowledge and my ignorance is showing but does anyone know what kind of range this thing has? The only range I saw on their site was the temp range.
