Honkees complain " my coffee taste like ass"

I just never understood the attraction to $5.00/cup coffee from a drive-through...

I much prefer to brew my own.

Community Dark Roast or Breakfast Blend.

Excuse me while I pour another cup. :pleased:

I only stop at Starbucks in the winter when they have the gingerbread latte, outside of that everything they have is terrible, even the regular coffee.

to me starbucks or as we say around the office, fourbucks is the worst coffee you can get.  now if you want a drink with a bunch of other stuff in it along with a little coffee then fourbucks is your place.

So the water from the tap in the bathroom is somehow dirtier than the water from the tap in the kitchen?  Do these people not brush their teeth in the bathroom?  :squint:

Granted, given the outrageous prices at Starbucks you'd think they were using imported glacial ice (and clubbing those annoying baby seals out of the way)but seriously.... when you heat water hot enough to brew coffee it's functionally boiled.

You guys do realize the water came from the sink and not a toilet?

The store has acknowledged it is using the faucet to brew coffee. “There is no direct water supply to that particular store, that’s why we need to obtain the drinking water from the nearest source in the building,” Starbucks spokeswoman Wendy Pang said. She added that the shop has now switched to distilled water.

That's what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure they don't use filtered water anywhere.

If that makes you nauseous, you probably don't want to read and watch this.....

yuck, remind me to not hit the dirty water dog carts in Shengzhen. slightly off but i was at a function with a hi level municipal official who specializes in water treatment for municipalities.

his point was you have water and solids, we remove solids, and treat water to eliminate bad micro organisms.simple. drink manufacturers filter solids out but don't add anything to "natural spring" water............does that support the fact that evian spelled backwards is naive??? :ugh:

Most bottled water is taken straight from the municipal water supply anyway.

This is no more gross than brushing your teeth in the bathroom.

http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/mythbusters-database/fecal-matter-on-toothbrush.htm

Every time you flush a toilet, it releases an aerosol spray of tiny tainted water droplets. So if, like many people, you leave your toothbrush in the vicinity of a toilet, does that mean it's regularly bathed in bits of fecal matter? MythBusters Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage uncovered the dirty truth to this myth by covering a bathroom with 24 toothbrushes, two of which they brushed with each morning — the others they simply rinsed every day for a month.

As experimental controls, the MythBusters kept two untainted toothbrushes in an office far away from the lavatory. At the end of the month-long trial, they sent their toothbrush collection to a microbiologist for bacterial testing.

Astonishingly, all the toothbrushes were speckled with microscopic fecal matter, including the ones that had never seen the inside of a bathroom. The confirmed myth unfortunately proved that there's indeed fecal matter on toothbrushes — and also everywhere else.

One would have guessed they would have though it tasted like wang since this was in Hong Kong.

I don't drink expensive coffee either. It is a waste.
