Stupid TV

Recommended Posts

I'm not a realty show fan but why do the towing shows depict stupidity at its best. These companies have money tied up in storage and trucks but the biggest idiots are glamorized like stupid and ignorant is cool. There is no benefit nothing to learn, no business tricks just dumbasses being stupid. We've already debated bad tv and the duck deal but two towing shows taking up air time w bs... I've worked w tow co owners good and bad I don't know how they allow this shit to give their biz a bad image...

I almost lose my mind when I hear people talking about "So and so almost got killed on Faux Tow last night!!!!! So glad the didn't get hit with any of those bullets!!"......as the truck drives off with rounds being fired off as the whole scene is picked up by multiple camera guys left to DIE!!!! SMDH!

The only "reality" show I watch is Hardcore Pawn. It's faker'n hell but my DVR started recording it a year or two ago and I just kept watching it. I was actually in the background walking around in the store on last weeks episode. (When the black woman in red polka dot dress was going off). I drive a truck and was in Warren MI about 2 months ago and decided to go the few miles down to the store just because I was so close. They turned out to be filming that day. I walked around hoping to get a shot of me on camera just laugh about with my buddies when it came on. They stood around talking for a bit laughing and whatnot then the camera came on and there she was yelling. One of the dumbest shows ever but I was on TV lol

I thought it was a polka dot dress. I'm the one in the tan hat with my hands behind my back. I videoed this off the tv. There were several good shots of me. If anyone wants an autograph just let me know... :P

Would have recognized ya right off!   These shows are just the new wrestling........just less chance of them getting hurt.

Man, don't insult the WWF by comparing them with these shows. At least the "wrestlers" have a little acting ability.

Anyone who has spent any time in a tow truck or repoing cars will tell you that it is quite exciting at times.  That said I can't watch these shows though as they are horribly scripted and poorly acted out.  I do like Hardcore Pawn, I think people in Detroit just act that way, I don't think it's really scripted much.

The Rock taught them all his tricks!

Yeah...Right. But at least Dewayne Johnson is somewhat of an actor. I've actually enjoyed some of his films.

With all the penchant in Holly weird Land these days, I'm waiting to see Johnson as a Terminator. Edited by hipower

Oh man reality shows suck. Just think how I feel being a Chef and watching show after show after show of these morons on TV. Someone always asks " hey do you watch so and so" and I just say I can't stand 90% of them. The only one I really ever like was diners drive ins and dives. The host was hard to take but I always liked seeing the little mom and pop type operations. Food network did the restaurant industry an injustice.
