My wife and I did a marathon session Sunday and watched all of Season 4 back to back.

She's watching Person Of Interest Now, so we'll catch the 10PM replay.

Like the Michael Rappaport character. This should be an interesting little battle with Boyd. And Boyd seems to be losing his homey manner and going for the jugular these days. Should liven the show quite a bit.

And Wendy Crowe. Quite a little hotty. Hope to see more of her.

If it continues like the first episode, it may be closer to the first season in action and its wry humor. It felt a little more like the orginal Raylan last night.

 

Since you didn't see it, the little redhead Wendy, is the gal who played Cybil's daughter on the show Cybil a few years back. The smart-mouthed little teenager. But she has grown up to be a smart-mouthed Crowe now.

What about the scene where Raylan goes to see Dewey and finds a gun and says that he is a convicted felony and has, "lost the God given American right to bear arms."? Did anyone feel like they were being patronized. Are the writers/producers even close to being in the middle. I know Fox has a contest to go shoot with Tim Olyphant. Could Olyphant be starting to move his veiws to the right. We all know how Hollywood thinks so we aren't going to go there. I just wanted some opinions on this.

WELL...tonight sure was interesting.  Boyd is really becoming the star of the show. And Eva sure is looking rough in the last few seasons. She was pretty sharp there at first, but now...not so much.

 

And Johnny...OK probably that's the end for him. But the way the double, triple, and quadruple-crossing is going with HotRod's men; I don't know who works for who anymore.

 

And Art? He sure has his panties in a wad over Raylon. Wonder how long that will last?

 

But at least it's picking up the pace a little.

I thought about that as well. Maybe the Crowes making a move to become top dogs? Put Boyd in a bad light with the Dixie Mafia as well a possible problem with the Mexicans for the shootout on their soil?

Overall a mediocre season, but the last ten minutes sure knew how to set up the last season pretty nicely.

I'd agree on the less than satisfying season. Hopefully 6 will get back on track.

 

When the Eva sub-plot started losing ground, I figured the writers were in trouble.

 

The Raylan vs Boyd story does much better than some of the last few seasons. Not sure we can get into a 7th though.

Everything I've heard and read is that season 6 is it. ;(

Season 6 is going to be the final season. The story is coming full circle and will end where it began, Raylan vs. Boyd. I will go ahead and place my prediction now that this struggle will destroy both of them.
