The Kel-tec is suppossed to be a .308 I believe. Correct me if im wrong. Im a .223 or 5.56 nut.

Yes, the kel-tec is a .308......but is supposed to be released in 7.62x39, 6.5, and 5.56 at a later date if I'm not mistaken.

And even then you'll need to wait about a year after the first release.

I think Kel-Tec does its beta-testing by using early buyers returns. They repair those guns and then take the fix to the production line.

Just checkout the KTOG website and read the posts on the fixes by SN range for all of the Kel-Tec products with "improvements."

Maybe that is how Kel-Tec keeps cost down. Little to No Pre production testing - - - let the customer do it for ya!

They've had working prototypes for two years, seems like they must have got some testing done. I'm hoping that they're taking their time to make sure this one is done right. I like what I've seen. If it takes longer....it takes longer.
