Frankly, I hope we never reach the point where our lives are in such constant danger that we NEED to do what they do in Israel...more than that, I would much prefer we lived in a world and in a country where we NEVER needed to be armed.

If I saw someone walking in the mall with what looked like a AR-15 on his back I would not call the LEO unless I new for sure he was doing something illegal or going to do something illegal.  I do not assume because he has a weapon that he also has bad intentions. The same way I would not call LEO on someone that I noticed CCing. I may make sure I am not in harms way if something bad happens but I am not getting LEO involved just because he has a weapon.
