Guess that means we need some Floridians to move this way to counteract that and make it like Spring time. Hey Erik88, get yer arse up here and bring some of that heat which ya!

Are you kidding? Anything below 60 is arctic to them. ;)  Seriously, during my stint where I lived in Miami there was a morn where it was 45. EVERYONE came in with parkas and snow mobile suits, they all looked like Ralphys kid brother from the Christmas Story. I walked in and was befuddled as I wore a pull over, lol.

Yes I am a former Yankee, but I moved here to get away from the cold. My wife on the other hand is an original Tennessee, and she has been complaining for years that they don't get the cold and snow here like they used to years ago. She complains that they used to ski on renegade mountain, but not in many years because the area doesn't get the winters like it used to. So don't blame the Yankees, blame my native Tennessee wife.

I hear the wambulance....

I'm still in a t-shirt.

I've met you, and you look like a very tough individual. However, if you claim to have been outside most of the day today in only a t-shirt, I call B.S. :D

Haha yeah, there is no way Id be outside in a T-shirt. I was just being a wise arse. I had on a soft coat/outer shell today, and a t-shirt underneath. But I was never outside more than just walking to and from the truck to home depot and the indoor range.

It was like -50 in MN the last couple days. My family and friends are still up there (that is where I am from) and there is no way I'd ever move back there. My wife is from CT and I moved her to MN for a couple years and she pretty much said she hated me for that because it was so cold, so I told her we could move south to a warmer climate and we chose here. So, yes, I am a yankee bringing cold weather. I was just trying to be a wisenheimer saying we didn't bring that much cold because us yankees are so used to this kind of weather we still think its kinda warm :)

This cold weather snap has me and the wife ready to move back home to Florida! Whitewolf001 is right about Miami. We lived there for a year. Once the temp hit 60 it seems everyone, except us, broke out the down parkas and gloves. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

Sorry......but do I count if I was only up there for 5 years?  And from this area originally?

At least we don't have the snow down here...that 40" we had overnight last February was MISERABLE.

...but did they have to bring their weather? :waiting:

That wasn't a yankee vortex, it was a Canadian vortex. Let's blame the right people. Canadians ain't Yankees.

This was caused by those people importing their meds from up north, evidently some meds needed to be refrigerated.

My wife's aunt lives outside of Miami and 2 years ago she came up to the panhandle for Thanksgiving and my wife had to take her a jacket because she didn't even own one.
