wow that's ugly....

Out of curiosity, does anyone know for sure what the "/30" means in 1891/30? I thought it was the year of a redesign (1930) from the original 1891 model. The description of this absurd stock on eBay says it stands for .30 caliber.

The /30 does mean the modification of 1930.

However, since it is a .30 caliber rifle if one was "challenged" enough then it could mean that as well.

Interesting. Take a Tsarist era rifle that eventually became a heavily used Communist Rifle and paint the Colors on it and the opening words of the Declaration. PURE Genius. Market it as "The Obama Rifle" and I believe he has a winner. 10 dollars worth of paint increases it's value by at LEAST the 300% he's asking. Who WOULDN'T want a Presidential Rifle?

It's not a rifle.  It's a stock.  AIM regularly sells those stocks for $16.99 or so.  Having said that, I'm left speechless at the seller"s audacity in listing that abortion...

... but then again, those Archangel stocks sell for close to $200, so I guess ole' P.T. Barnum was right after all...

Well, to be fair to the ebay poster, all you get on the AIM stocks is the typical Soviet shellac, not the ultra-customized Superpatriot paint job his is festooned with...

Big surprise, it didn't sell. Relisted at same 450 clams. Plus a ridiculous $40 shipping, which I don't think anybody mentioned.
