Handgrip or handstop?

All input welcome. I want to use this on an ar pistol but don't want the compliance commandos popping up outta the ground if I attaché it to a pistol. The question I guess is can it fit definition as a handstop? Or is it a vertical grip ?? Note the size.. Thanks!!

FWIW, I'll repeat what I said in your previous thread:

 

They tout a BATF letter of approval? Seems highly unlikely it could be ruled as a VFG if push ever came to shove, but we are talking about the BATF after all, and I'd still prefer to stick to stuff that has their official sanction.

Not sure on the letter,am still looking,.....always one to err on the side of caution as well. ive read the debates on the angled grip/ stop, this one is a gem and a weightsaver if it flies.. thanks 

side note ergo classifies it as a handstop in their description...still no atf amens.
