I thought it was a pretty good deal but not sure on a polymer NPAP, figured $459 is a deal even for a WASR these days since dealer cost on them is higher than that. What say you fellow TGO'rs? I've never played with them so I don't know. Also, does anyone know anything about those I.O. Inc rifles in the link provided?

Yes, yes, and yes. Avoid IO unless you see it in person and know what issues to look for. Pick up the Yugo and don't look back.

When they say synthetic what are they talking about, the furniture?

Yes. I've actually heard that Century said that they were discontinuing the synthetic NPAP.

The Yugo wood is very nice for an AK. It's heavy but very nice. I really don't care for the synthetic on the Yugo's, aesthetically speaking.

Me either. There is also no heat shield on the synthetic handguards...I checked.
