Ncstar Fixed carry handle mount

I have a Bushmaster DCM competition rifle (a2 style) and I am looking to mount a scope onto it via a ncstar carry handle mount

I was wondering if anyone has any previous experience with these or any of the ncstar products in general..

I tried searching the forums and didnt really find much and nothing about the ncstar mount specifically.

I found the ARMS carry handle rail mount but in conjunction with the scope mount I feel that the scope would be way to high for my liking..

 

Any input would be much appreciated!

 

Also any scope suggestions in the 100-200 range? Looking for quality but I am also not trying to shoot 1000 yards either lol.
