Legality of buying a crate of Mosin's for a group

There is only one way to do it legally. C&R or not. Group purchase for discount. Crate goes to a licensed dealer, no profit involved and everyone does a 4473 and passes a background check and pays for their transfer. Same as buying any other gun online.

A purchase like that you are unlikely to get much of a discount if any. C&R Holders get access to discounts when they fax in or upload their License. They also get access on some sites to thing non holders do not get access to.  Otherwise, your just buying a gun online.

Of all the ATF laws I think the C&R regulations and laws are the most clear and DaveTN nailed it with his one word answer.

I would give the same advice that everyone gave me a couple of years ago. Pay the 30 bucks, wait a couple of weeks and get all the discounts and specials your wallet can handle.
