"The odds of me being in a gun forum guy's wet dream SHTF situation is next to nonexistent.I practice enough to do what needs doing with my plain black sighted weapons and my finger on the trigger. You can practice being a Delta Force Groupie or Space Shuttle Doorgunner.I have other things to do. "

+2,000,000 on what Grout said...a .45 +P would hurt like hell...and forget follow up shot placement.

I really want to thank everybody for info. This may be off topic but this another example of incorrect info from people that should know. I know when I ask about my HCP (see bkelm18 I do try to learn) I wanted to take beginners course they said I really didn't need it just come and shoot. Do you really want to be next to someone at the range that in the last 6 months bought a 325pd (doesn't know what ammo to use), compact 45 (first decocker) bought from guy didn't know it had one and an anaconda never been to a range in my life and shot 5 rounds in over 20 years. I think beginners course is a good idea. These examples are from different locations I hope this come across as thankful and respectful to you at TGO for your help, and not any kind of bashing
