Got nostalgic tonight

I was sitting at home drinking a beer and got nostalgic from my days in the Marines. I dug out the plaque the guys from my unit made for me and presented to me the day I left Okinawa. If anyone ever comes by for a beer or to shoot just ask and I'll let you read it. Its not really appropriate for this forum lol. I hung up my M14 and my Grandpa's Model 12 12 gauge on it as they seemed fitting companions. 20131227_215628_zps43cf4e24.jpg Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I opened this thread with great interest. When you said nostalgic I really figured to see something midieval. I figured maybe you made some old fashioned suit of armor or something...

But, don't let that take away from the plaque, it looks cool...

And for all the stuff I do with my hobbies, that amateur made gun rack with a plaque engraved with tbe words of friends and signed by all of them means more than most anything in this world. Especially considering one of the Marines who signed that plaque has died and now guards the gates of heaven. Thanks for the compliments guys, time for another beer on this end.
