I think Walmart is taking this kind of stuff very serious and he would have likely have been fired. I have a good friend that works sporting goods at one and he told me if they were caught even texting or calling to let people know when ammo was stocked they would be fired no questions ask. Also if they are caught selling any they had bought at there they would be fired.

Yep, this is the impression I got from my last ammo purchase.

After the past year with people's bitching, complaining to management or corporate, employee shenanigans, playing the "push the limit" game, and inconsistent policies from store to store, I would not be surpirsed if WM just said to hell with it all. No more ammo or gun sales.

I know a female manager at a Walmart that I have had some interactions with tell me she didn't care if Walmart got any ammo in or not. And that it was up to her if she even wanted to place an order.
