Duracoat Hardener (locally)

Recommended Posts

I typically use Gun Kote baked, but I have a non-firearm project (flashlight) that cannot be baked.  I have some old Duracoat that was stored refrigerated that I want to use but my hardener has set up like a rock.  Is there anywhere in the Knoxville area I can get a 1 oz bottle?  I seriously need about 15 drops.

Thanks.

Go to your local Sherwin Williams and ask for the hardener for Prolane-T. There is one off of Broadway near the 40 exit/entrance.

Duracoat is Prolane-T just with a different label. It is also a lot cheaper than Duracoat but you do have to buy larger quantities.

I have to remember this.  Thanks Dolmite!
