Magazine Subscriptions, What You Got

Recommended Posts

Just pandering the morning away this morning with abstract thoughts and curiosities (actually wiffee is at the hospital, her father is having surgery today, and I am watching the 4 boys).  Anyway, what gun/outdoor activity magazine subscriptions do you have, and rank them in order, 1 being best etc.

Here is mine:

1.  Shooting Illustrated

2.  SWAT

3.  American Riflemen

4.  Guns & Ammo (considered cancellation lately)

5.  Tennessee Wildlife

Any more subscriptions and I will have to eat more frequently, so I can be on the bus more for quality reading time!   Ha!

All I'm getting right now is Guns and Ammo, which if I were paying for I really wouldn't bother with, I get it as a gift subscription.  I mean who really needs another review on a 1911 or an AR-15?  I've found that most gun mags have a strong bias towards which ever manufacter sent them samples that month, so I don't really find them credible.  I used to get Field and Stream and Outdoor Life and enjoyed both.  I got TN Wildlife as well and it was good.
