Prayer Request for a friend.

A good friend of mine, Brandon, just lost his mom in a car accident a couple of hours ago. I don't think he's a member here on TGO, but I know a few of you are members over on another forum where he is a moderator.  In any case, I ask that you say a quick prayer for Brandon and his family during this difficult time.  I appreciate it and I know he will as well.

Thanks in advance, TGO.

He texted me about this when the accident happened and again when she passed. Prayers have been sent and our family will be keeping him in our thoughts and prayers for a long time to come. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Losing either of your parents is a very difficult thing.  Prayers sent.

Especially at this time of the year.

I heard about this accident on the radio earlier.  I didn't realize it hit close to home here.  Prayers sent out for Brandon, his family and all affected.

Just seen this. I  used to be on Mine road everyday ..That road is bad .. people speed and pass in curves.. I dread driving it  every time I need to.

.Poor  guy.. Kids  ought not to have to bury their parents..

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted to provide an update...and not a good one, I'm afraid.  After losing his mom on Christmas Day, Brandon has himself been in a car wreck.  He wrecked on his way to work today on I-640 in Knoxville.

He is currently in critical condition at UT and stands a good chance of losing his right arm.

So, keep praying on this one. The poor guy has had a rough couple of weeks. He's one of the "good guys" too. Brandon is a former Eagle Scout and is a gun carrier, God believer, family man, and generally just a great friend to have.

Just an update for those who have asked.  Brandon is doing better. He's out of ICU and in a room as of today.  He still has multiple surgeries pending on his arm before we'll know for sure whether or not he'll get to keep it. However, he's stable, awake, and doing well..all things considered.
