A Christmas Story!

Back about 15 years ago I was up on Christmas Eve putting together toys.
I had a great little dog, Trixie, Terrier mix, about 15 pounds, who always watched whatever I was doing.
To help me get things together I required the help of some alcoholic stimulus so I fixed a Tequila Sunrise. This is a drink that consists of about 50% tequila. Pretty stout. As I sat in the floor putting together a bike or something I reached for my drink and discovered it was empty. So I fixed another. A few minutes later it was empty again so I made another. This time as soon as I sat it down I felt a fuzzy dog muzzle against my hand and I saw Trixie stick her head in the glass and start drinking.
Whoa!
She was drinking more of it than I was.
I put it up out of her reach, sat up all night to watch her.
She made it fine. She slept well that night. I didn't.
Merry Christmas all!!!
And God bless.
Mr. Bill.

I have a yellow lab like that. Honey lived with a big beer drinker before we got her as a rescue.
They dog will try to take your beer or glass of wine every time. I was sitting outside enjoying a cigar and a beer.
Honey tried to knock the bottle over to get my beer.

Had a friend many years ago with a pair of labs that were bad about that. She drank bud light and her bf drank bud. One lab drank bud and one drank BL. The bad part is I drink miller lite so the dogs would knock over my beer and then not drink it. Rule to learn. Don't leave your beer where the dogs could get to it.
