Was in Sam's club earlier today and seen they had a 2 pound pork loin with asparagus, cranberries and sauce with slices of orange all prepared in one container.

Best idea for dinner I've seen in a while, no work involved outside of turning on the oven!

Baked BBQ chicken. Baked because it's frickin cold out, I'm sick (merry Christmas to me), and I don't feel like standing outside to grill it. Plus baked beans, and a veggie of some sort.

I ended up staying home this year. I've got 2 lbs of 16/20 count shrimp, some Lil Smokies in chili sauce/grape jelly/cayenne/garlic, extra sharp cheddar and Bourbon. The dog has all that plus a few goodies I got him. And Bourbon.

Let's see:

Coquito (Puerto Rican Egg nogg)

Pernil (Puerto Rican Pork Shoulder)

Arroz con Guandules (Rice with Pidgeon Peas w/ sprinkled ham pieces )

tater or some other kind salad

Rum - Hey got to stay warm, it's cold outside..

No, I'm not cooking all that, friends are and I'm going to brave the cold weather to go eat at their place, hence the rum..

Longhorn "Flo's Fillet" salad, baked potatoes, steamed broccoli, rolls, and a yummy egg custard pie.

Yes, it's takeout.

Traditional dinner with inlaws tomorrow.

Christmas dinner will be prime rib, mashed potatoes, fried apples, garlic bread, and a spinach salad. A blueberry, peach, apple, and cherry pie (all in one) from Sam's and vanilla ice cream will be dessert.

We are having goetta and eggs for breakfast.  Can't wait.   The rest of the day is secondary.

For dinner the warden is awarding us with Ham and all the other stuff she fixes so well.

Well...since you brought up breakfast.

Ours will be steak and eggs, hash browns, sides of bacon and pork loin, and French toast to end it all.

Tonight was tortilla soup, homemade. A small glass of Crown XO before I finally bed down.

Tomorrow breakfast will be fried venison backstrip, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. Dinner will be whatever, probably light sandwiches. Supper will be homemade Tamales, rice, beans, and guacamole salad.
